In April, I tried and rated Amanda's nachos, and now it was Randy's turn. We had nachos at Curly Portables but 5 hours later, we had an appetite for nachos made by our friend on a chilly September night. The night after Friday the 13th and a full moon at that. Randy's Nachos- September 2019 Randy's Nachos- September 2019 The chips that were used were the restaurant multi-colour chips and there was mixed tex-mex cheese put on the nachos. In addition, I thought that fried chicken was a good call to use for chicken instead of just plain grilled chicken. Randy melted the cheese just right and the distribution of toppings was spot-on! I think it's really neat that we have friends who make nachos for us who know how much we love nachos! I think that Randy's nachos were great and I had so much that I did not want to have another nacho. This is a good thing and it does not happen often! Nacho Blog Rating (homemade): A-

NOTE: This restaurant has closed. Established in 1984, Curly Portables is located on the main stretch of Enfield, Nova Scotia. It takes 31 minutes to drive from Enfield to downtown Halifax, NS, and I was pleasantly surprised by the outdoor live music on a chilly September evening. NOTE: This restaurant has closed. Pizza Delight is a Canadian franchise that serves Italian food. There are several restaurants in Canada and there are about 6-7 restaurants in the region of Southern New Brunswick. For a long time, I did not have any new nacho reviews  in Saint John and the reason for this is because I feel I would be disappointed with any restaurants that I have left out thus far. Marco Polo Land is a campground that is located in Cavendish, Prince Edward Island. In my opinion, it is a top of the line campground that has many activities for adults and children, and one of the activities we attended was karaoke. It was our last night in Cavendish; therefore, we decided to not only sing all our favorite songs at karaoke, but to also have the nachos at The Galley Restaurant in between our songs and while listening to others sing. Carr's Oyster Bar is located in Stanley Bridge, Prince Edward Island (just outside of Cavendish). We decided we had time before the thunder and lightning and decided to roll the dice and bike from Cavendish to Stanley Bridge, PE. Carr's Oyster Bar has amazing prices on oysters that come in different sizes and they are delicious to boot! When you visit Shediac, New Brunswick in the summer, you expect to have good seafood, sit on a nice beach, and see a giant lobster. One night we were biking down the road and made a few stops along the way in our quest to find entertainment for the night. We made a stop at a place that took them a long time to ask us for beer (we left), another place that was closing, and finally we stopped at Le Moque-Tortue. In this case, third time was a charm as we were entertained by some live music and it had an impressive menu. I had my heart set on the Acadian dish, Frico; however, I saw other people order nachos, and little did I know that they would soon become a contender for the best nachos in New Brunswick. The Rodd Brudenell Resort is located in Eastern Prince Edward Island, which is a 30 minute drive from its capital, Charlottetown. Eastern PEI is very underrated and is a must-visit as you can see wineries, have delicious seafood (especially lobster), visit historical sites, and play golf on some of the best golf courses in the Maritimes. Located next to the Brudenell Resort, is the Club 19 which offers food for all meals. We ate there a few times and all of the meals exceeded our expectations. Of course we had nachos, not once but twice while we were there for our 5 day stay. The Grass Roots Grill is located at the Hampton Golf Club in Hampton, New Brunswick. They also have a location at the Westfield Golf Club! We went in 2019 and it was a disappointing nacho experience where I made them passable with a C+ rating. I can assure you that the visit in May 2021 was better than our previous C+ experience. Niche Lounge is a sports bar on the corner of Salter and Barrington Street in Halifax, Nova Scotia. It reminds me of Saint John's Rocky's , but a little better. We went during the 2019 Memorial Cup and the place was packed full of people cheering for the Guelph team as they were taking on Rouyn on the big screen television that was next to us. I checked the menu as we were waiting to be seated and alas, there were nachos on the menu. It was then that I realized I only had one other Halifax place that was rated on the blog.
