It was our last day in Toronto and we decided to take the long ride from our hotel by the airport into town for one last shot at what could be the best plate of nachos in Canada. I wasn't ready to say that the Beertown nachos were the best on our trip or that the Snooty Fox in Fredericton were the best in Canada. I was ready to have my mind blown and when it's your last day in a big city, you have to make it count. I wanted these nachos to be on my mind while we are trying to land in foggy Saint John and then rushing to work immediately after landing with my ears still plugged up from the plane. Pickle Jar is located inside the Hilton in Fredericton, New Brunswick. After the Fredericton Marathon , I really wanted to just sit for the rest of the day and it was nice to watch some sports and drink some pop. Not even diet pop, but a good old regular pop. We stayed there for quite a while until it was supper time, and so we decided to have some nachos. Post-marathon nachos are the best! Pickle Jar Kettle Chip Nachos with Chicken - May 2024 Distribution of Toppings The distribution of toppings was about average. There was mostly something for every chip. Quality The nachos had chicken but the pieces were so small that it was barely detectable. The kettle chips were nice, crispy, and salty. There was some excellent house made hot sauce offered which was also a huge plus. In addition, the dill dipping sauce was delicious.
