Dos Toros Taqueria & Tequila Bar is located in Fredericton's South Side on Queen Street. We really needed to go to some place other than STMR or The Snooty Fox so that we could add some variety to our nacho experiences in Fredericton. It's hard because you run the risk of the nachos not being very good but then maybe there is a hidden gem. It's all about risk/reward. How did these nachos do? Despite us arriving 15 minutes before closing time (Google maps hours didn't reflect a recent switch to winter hours), our server treated us well and delivered an excellent nacho experience. I'm trying to schedule my blog entries to publish the way the chapters are laid out in a Game of Thrones book. I know I have some different locations to update so I'm trying to alternate between locations just like in Game of Thrones where they jump around the different storylines. On the TV show, in one episode you could find out about five different storylines as it jumps around. I will say that show is my inspiration right now. Blaxton Pub & Grill has four different locations. We went to the one on Avenue Cartier, just around the corner from Old Quebec City. It was a very French night as we insisted on speaking French to everyone including amongst ourselves, so I told the waitress that I forgot my English! I tried to make it seem dramatic too. You had to be there. We had the nachos, and we enjoyed rooting against the Kansas City Chiefs and listening to some live music all at the same time. Arriba Burrito has two locations: Mont-Royal and St-Denis. We went to the St-Denis location after hiking the Mont-Royal mountain on a hot and sunny (40 + degree humidex) day and got some relief from the heat when we went inside. What a piece of art! There was never a dull moment when it came to Arriba Burrito's nachos. Every bite was a random selection from the 20 toppings piled onto these nachos, with many dips and lots of cheese loaded onto them.  Quality These were easily the highest quality nachos we had on our trip to Quebec. Our days in Montreal were some of the hottest I have ever experienced in my life, and I have been to some pretty hot places like Mexico, Cuba, Dominican Republic, etc. We decided to walk around and do our sightseeing, even with the 40 + degrees humidex. When we walked into the downtown area from Côte-Des-Neiges (probably 45 minutes), it was time for some relief (air conditioning). I have no idea how some people still sat on the patios during the hottest part of the day, but we went directly inside the Sir Winston Churchill Pub where the air conditioning felt like heaven.
