The Snooty Fox is located on Regent Street in Fredericton, New Brunswick. It is in Fredericton's South Side, just around the corner from the universities and colleges. You can enjoy the classy pub downstairs, or when it is nice out, there is a patio upstairs. I remember my first bite of these nachos back in the fall of 2003. My friends watched as I took the first bite, and that moment changed my life.  Let's just say that 60.43% of the time, I drive 1.5 hours just for these nachos and then drive home. Today is Saturday, and it is usually the day that I would post about some nachos I had today. This is a different day from the norm as I did not have nachos. I do think, however, that some awards are due for the nachos I have had to date: The cheesiest nachos : The Snooty Fox nachos with the extra cheese option. Honourable mention to the Delta Mix nachos that have a lot of cheese on them already without asking for extra cheese. It is not recommended to ask for extra cheese when ordering the Snooty Fox nachos as you will have the chips swimming in the cheese.  The tastiest guacamole: Taco Pica. You pay about $5 extra for guacamole on the side but it is worth every penny. It is authentic Guatemalan, Mexican, and Spanish cuisine, so the homemade guacamole is expected, but delicious.  The most consistent nacho : The Snooty Fox. Maxwell's Restaurant & Bar is located in the heart of downtown Fredericton, New Brunswick inside the Beaverbrook Crowne Plaza hotel. When I say downtown Fredericton, I mean the "South Side", which has the universities and colleges as well as The Snooty Fox (The Excellence) . I noticed that previously we did not have a lot of representation on this blog when it comes to Fredericton. My Fredericton pictures of nachos consisted of a lot of Snooty Fox Beef Nachos (with steak pieces for beef!). When visiting another area and having the intention to have nachos, it comes to a point where you are making a choice between: 1) why question a good thing? or 2) maybe there is better out there. Cannon's Cross is located in Fredericton's North Side, not far from the walking bridge and the happening South Side of Fredericton. It used to be that the owner of  The Snooty Fox  also owned Cannon's Cross; however it was sold about three years ago. We were told that the owner of Cannon's Cross also owns  Rustico and Cora's. I had always liked going to Cannon's Cross knowing that there was a bit of a Snooty Fox  influence.   The Evandale Resort is located in Evandale, New Brunswick which is about a 30 min drive from Grand Bay, Westfield New Brunswick. In some cases, you can take three ferries to get to Evandale, and in our case, that is what we did coming from Quispamsis. At this point, we have tried most of the nachos in the Saint John area, so it is getting to be a challenge to try somewhere new! I had not heard anything about the nachos at the Evandale resort, so I went in without any big expectations. NOTE: This restaurant has closed. Established in 1984, Curly Portables is located on the main stretch of Enfield, Nova Scotia. It takes 31 minutes to drive from Enfield to downtown Halifax, NS, and I was pleasantly surprised by the outdoor live music on a chilly September evening. Pickle Jar is located inside the Hilton in Fredericton, New Brunswick. After the Fredericton Marathon  , I really wanted to just sit for the rest of the day and it was nice to watch some sports and drink some pop. Not even diet pop, but a good old regular pop. We stayed there for quite a while until it was supper time, and so we decided to have some nachos. Post-marathon nachos are the best! When you visit Shediac, New Brunswick in the summer, you expect to have good seafood, sit on a nice beach, and see a giant lobster. One night we were biking down the road and made a few stops along the way in our quest to find entertainment for the night. We made a stop at a place that took them a long time to ask us for beer (we left), another place that was closing, and finally we stopped at Le Moque-Tortue. In this case, third time was a charm as we were entertained by some live music and it had an impressive menu. I had my heart set on the Acadian dish, Frico; however, I saw other people order nachos, and little did I know that they would soon become a contender for the best nachos in New Brunswick. Located in the center of Hampton, New Brunswick, Red Brick Pub Eatery is located on the former site of a fire station and is known as the "Red Brick Corner." On March 1, 2020 I ran from Quispamsis to Hampton and had these nachos as a treat at the end of the training run. Britt's Pub has two locations in Saint John, New Brunswick: Rockwood Park and Uptown. Britt's Pub is an English-style pub whose name was inspired by  Miller Brittain . In the 1930's, his art studio was two floors up in the same building where the pub is now located. Britt's Rockwood   is located in front of the Rockwood Park golf course. It is an 18 hole golf course with a driving range to boot! We went in March 2021 and we had the BBQ chicken nachos as well as the regular beef nachos. We went again in August 2022 to update the blog!
