Kelsey's is a chain restaurant that has locations in three provinces: New Brunswick, Newfoundland, and Ontario. There is one location in New Brunswick, and that is in Moncton. Kelsey's is a sports bar that is close to the highway and was a nice treat to have on our way back from Price Edward Island on a beautiful summer day. It was nice to try somewhere new for nachos in Moncton as it had been a while. The Pilot House is located in downtown Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. I am told that this is where the locals come to either sit inside for that cozy pub experience, or sit outside at the "Queue" bistro area, and enjoy some live music. As I write this on the last day of September, I have to think back almost three months in time... to a time where it was 18 degrees first thing in the morning, and comfortable to sit outside - a time where you can sit outside on the patio no matter what time of day.  The day we visited the Pilot House, the weather was warm, so we sat outside and enjoyed some live music on a July evening on PEI.  When we were on the island, I tried to have lots of seafood, especially oysters. Vito's opened its doors in Saint John, N.B. in 1972 and was founded by four Greek brothers: Costa, Peter, Nick, and Demetri. Vito's prides itself on its customer service, pizza, and pasta. There are two locations in the greater Saint John area: Uptown Saint John and Rothesay. I tried the nachos at the Rothesay location about 5 years ago and recently had the ones at the uptown location. It was time to divide this blog entry into the different locations.  Vito's Uptown: We were uptown and hungry for nachos, going back and forth between Churchill's and Vito's - we ended up at Vito's. Sometimes it's hard to pick a new place versus a place that you know would be good, especially since I did not have a good experience at the Vito's Rothesay location. The Red Herring Pub is located in downtown St Andrews, New Brunswick, where you can watch bands play live, watch sports, and have some beer and nachos. Their slogan is "where strangers become friends," and I can validate that with the friendly atmosphere and good vibes this pub gives off. There remained one question on my mind when I walked through the doors: What about the nachos? NOTE: This restaurant has closed. The Plank is located at Reversing Falls in Saint John, New Brunswick. It is the latest operation to run in this building, which is a Saint John landmark and an old favorite for many residents, especially west siders (like I used to be!). There is a plank-shaped observation deck on the roof which we watched people visiting while we had our nachos. The Plank opened its doors in November 2022 and I quickly found out that they served nachos and, according to the Foodie group on Facebook, and I heard that they were delicious nachos. I always like to take every opportunity to try a new place and I like being able to keep the hometown top ten list fresh. The Lunar Rogue Pub is located on King Street in Fredericton, New Brunswick. A historical overview of the Lunar Rogue can be viewed here . We decided to get some nachos after a nice 5km race to celebrate the moment, and we thought "Why not go to a new place that's not on the blog yet?" Sports Rock has two locations: Moncton and Dieppe, New Brunswick. We went to the Moncton location on Mountain Road since it was recommended to us by our Monctonian friends. On one of our regular Moncton shopping trips which normally includes Bass Pro Shop, maybe one other store, and a pub, we decided to stop by Sports Rock for lunch. What a great opportunity to have some good nachos (Oops, I spoiled the rating), and also to practice driving around Moncton!  York Bistro & Pub is located in the Hilton in Saint John, New Brunswick with great views of the Bay of Fundy and a wonderful atmosphere. I am happy to be able to make a nice fresh review for a restaurant in the Saint John area as a new experience in Saint John when it comes to nachos is hard to come by. It would be cool to say that I've tried all the nachos in Saint John someday. The Tipsy Tomato is located in Millidgeville which is in the north end of Saint John, New Brunswick.  Millidgeville's first neighborhood pub seems to fill a need in the area, which had only the basic fast food options - Wendy's, Subway, etc. for the longest time. I visited the Tipsy Tomato in 2020 and was not satisfied with my experience.
