Brackley Drive-In Threatre, Brackley Beach, Prince Edward Island

The Brackley Drive-In Theatre, located between Brackley Beach and Charlottetown, has been around since the mid 1950s. It has been restored with an authentic 1950s theme with vintage decor, and it has two massive screens that each show two different movies each night. On our 2025 summer vacation we spent a couple of fun evenings here watching great movies and eating delicious snacks. Of course we had to try the nachos. It's up to you to distribute things as you like! Quality Crispy tortilla chips, and the salsa was pretty good! Not amazing, but it tasted great at the Drive-In. Hub City Pub: Moncton New Brunswick

Hub City Pub is located in Casino New Brunswick, Moncton, NB. This is a fun spot where you can play lots of games, see some live entertainment, and eat some delicious food. There is also a buffet in the casino that offers a variety of different delicious foods if you're undecided on what you would like to eat. We have stayed here on a few occasions and enjoyed some amazing concerts including NOFX, The Beaches, the Buzzcocks, and the Descendents! The Painted Pony Bar & Grill: Sackville, New Brunswick

We spent the night in Sackville the night before we ran across The Confederation Bridge for the Terry Fox run. I highly recommend that to anyone! It was unlike anything I ever experienced in running! Amazing! We ate a lot of food in Sackville and there was an opportunity to do some nacho research. Island Stone Pub Kensington Station: Kensington, Prince Edward Island

The Island Stone Pub is located in Kensington, Prince Edward Island. It used to be a train station back in the day and when you walk in, it feels very classy and old school. It gives a bit of a diner vibe with good food and friendly staff. It is also located just around the corner from a haunted mansion so it's a good place to fuel up before you experience some spooks! The day we visited was also the first time we had rain in weeks so I was tempted to do a little rain dance. I feel like I missed out not doing the dance, since we didn't actually get much rain. Captain Dan's Seafood Bar & Grill: Pointe-du-Chêne, New Brunswick

It was NB Day weekend and we decided to visit some family and eat some delicious food in Shediac. The weekend definitely did not disappoint! On one of the nights we decided to walk the beautiful trails to the Pointe-du-Chêne Wharf where we visited an old favorite: Captain Dan's . I am not sure exactly when this restaurant opened, but I think it has been around since at least the 90's. We got there on a hot August evening to find a big line of people waiting to be seated. We employed our usual tactic and went straight to the fairly empty bar, skipped the line, and got our nachos. Salt Bight Restaurant & Bar: St. Andrews, New Brunswick

Salt Bight Restaurant & Bar  is located in downtown St. Andrews, New Brunswick. It has a nice patio with a great view and it's the perfect place to go on a beautiful day, especially after running an 8km race. We actually had these nachos the day before the race (yay carb loading!) and we loved it so much we went back again after the race. Salt Bight Nachos - June 2025 Distribution of Toppings There was a lot of cheese to go with these nachos. The distribution of toppings was perfect with a mouthful of cheese and chips in every bite. Quality There was a lot of banana peppers on the nachos which really popped out and overpowered the other flavors. There was a lot of cream on top which normally I like to have on the side to dip, which helps avoid soggy nachos. However, these nachos were not soggy, so not a problem! Your Father's Moustache: Halifax, Nova Scotia

Your Father's Moustache opened its doors in 1989 , and has been a hit on Spring Garden Road for many years due to its high level of service, quality food, and great location! It had been 6 years since we had been to Halifax - way too long! People kept asking me for recommendations for nachos in Halifax and I had to give them old information. Subway: Quispamsis, New Brunswick

I went to Subway and instead of having my regular cold cut on flatbread, I decided to try their nachos since they were offered for a limited time only. I am a fan of Subway, and I really enjoy when they have the cream of broccoli soup. I love loading up my sub with veggies, along with the perfect blend with avocado and mayo. STMR.36 BBQ & Social: Fredericton, New Brunswick

STMR.36 BBQ & Social is one of the places we make a point to visit when we are in Fredericton (usually for a road race). It's one of those places that, no matter what you try, you will always leave with a smile on your face because the food is just that good. The service we have had there is some of the best we have ever experienced. One of the must-haves is the trash can nachos which they have called "The Best Nachos." When I tell people that I have a nacho blog, the first question they always ask is "where can I get the best nachos in (insert town)?"
