I love going to Québec City when I am visiting the province of Québec. Old Québec gives me that feel that we are walking down historic streets in Europe and there are such great museums to visit. When we went this time, every person I talked to was very nice (were they in the Christmas spirit?). I really wanted to make sure that during the few days we were there, that we were going to have the best food experiences whether it be pasta, steak, or nachos. We had to try Nacho Pub based on its name and prime location, located in old Québec close to the Pub des Borgia  and many shops. It seemed like kind of a big deal with mandatory reservations and the nacho theme, but you can't judge a book by its cover. Pub des Borgia is located in old Quebec City and it is at the bottom of the steep set of stairs called  Escalier Casse-Cou (Breakneck Stairs), and also at the bottom of the Funiculaire . I was happy to re-visit this place in our second visit to Quebec City in December 2025. There were a lot of toppings to go with every round chip. No picture with leftover bare chips required for this place! Quality There was a lot of mozzarella cheese to go with the smoked meat and they went well together. We asked the server for extra cheese but she laughed and said we did not need the extra cheese.
