The Brackley Drive-In Theatre, located between Brackley Beach and Charlottetown, has been around since the mid 1950s. It has been restored with an authentic 1950s theme with vintage decor, and it has two massive screens that each show two different movies each night. On our 2025 summer vacation we spent a couple of fun evenings here watching great movies and eating delicious snacks. Of course we had to try the nachos.

Distribution of Toppings
This type of nacho does not really qualify for distribution ratings since the components are kept in individual containers. It's up to you to distribute things as you like!
Quality
Crispy tortilla chips, and the salsa was pretty good! Not amazing, but it tasted great at the Drive-In. Same goes for the queso - it's just perfect for the setting. With the dips in their own bowls, you can take your time dipping without worrying about soggy chips. I wish they had little containers of pickled jalapenos, maybe even a cilantro or green onion option. It's fun to have dreams.
Quantity
I feel like this is a standard-issue nacho tray for a movie theatre, and they filled it right up. I think this would be good for one person, if you're hungry at all I would not recommend trying to share these.
Value
The nachos are only $6.09 which is a pretty good value, especially considering it's a movie theatre.
Conclusion
These are worth getting if you're out for a movie night at Brackley. They have great popcorn and candy too, so you might want to get a combo of treats to enjoy in the car during the nightly double feature. The service was great at the canteen! There are two lines, one for each entrance, so you can just go to the side with the fewest people for fastest service. We'll be back next time we're on the island in the summer!
