The Island Stone Pub is located in Kensington, Prince Edward Island. It used to be a train station back in the day and when you walk in, it feels very classy and old school. It gives a bit of a diner vibe with good food and friendly staff. It is also located just around the corner from a haunted mansion so it's a good place to fuel up before you experience some spooks! The day we visited was also the first time we had rain in weeks so I was tempted to do a little rain dance. I feel like I missed out not doing the dance, since we didn't actually get much rain.

Distribution of Toppings
The distribution of toppings was excellent. I think every chip had the perfect blend of veggies and cheese.
Quality
These have to be the best kettle chip nachos we have ever had! There was lots of bacon bits and green onion with plenty of perfectly melted cheese. There was a variety of huge dips that you can get with the nachos and we got tzatziki. These kettle chip nachos combined with the dip seemed quite rich, since we're used to corn tortilla chips. These nachos also had an excellent toast factor.
Quantity
I was good to share as a snack in between lunch and supper. I always find I'm pretty hungry after some disc golf and this was no exception! I think if we added chicken, it would have made the nachos more filling and it would be better to share as a meal in that case.
Value
The loaded kettle chips are $18.95. If you add sour cream, it is $2 extra. If you add diced chicken, it is $7 extra. This is a small portion for the price but we were in a touristy area of PEI and we were really paying for the experience of eating in what was formerly a train station!
Conclusion
These were the perfect nachos for our situation. We were a little hungry in between meals and this was a wonderful treat to have as a snack. If you wanted to share these as a meal, you might be disappointed in the size. Eating at the Island Stone Pub and going to the haunted mansion is something everyone should experience when they are on PEI.
