Cathleen's Nachos

In the past, there were a few opportunities for me to try one's homemade nachos, and this was one of the times. I may be toning it down with going to restaurants and rating nachos for a while; however, you never know what is to come for the future of the Nacho Blog. There are a few places where the rating has expired and I will have to re-visit soon.

Cathleen invited us over for some nachos and we had been talking about this nacho experience all summer. October rolled around, and it was time to experience something that was better than many restaurants on this blog. I give you, Cathleen's nachos:

When we arrived, we saw the three trays loaded with chips and toppings and we knew that we were in for a great feast. The three trays were: Chicken, BBQ Chicken, and Beef. The beef and barbecue chicken had regular tortilla chips and the regular chicken had spicy chips. Cathleen had three different big cups full of dip which consisted of: liquid cheese (spicy), salsa, sour cream, and guacamole.

The distribution of toppings was really good for all three trays. I liked how there was a large quantity of dip for the chips as she may have anticipated there being a chip with nothing on it. In addition, I liked how one of the trays had spicy chips to ensure we have a variety of experiences. I would say that I liked the beef tray the best, simply because I love the combination of beef and tortilla chips. It is a general preference and it had no bearing on the quality of the other two trays.

I am blown away by Cathleen's effort when it came to the quality, quantity, distribution of toppings, and the variety of flavors. I am so happy she made these for us! Thank you!!!!
