It was our last day in Toronto and we decided to take the long ride from our hotel by the airport into town for one last shot at what could be the best plate of nachos in Canada. I wasn't ready to say that the Beertown nachos were the best on our trip or that the Snooty Fox in Fredericton were the best in Canada. I was ready to have my mind blown and when it's your last day in a big city, you have to make it count. La Carnita has three locations in the Toronto area, and we visited the one on 106 John Street in the downtown area. After experiencing some fear factor-like hornets at a previous place where we had to leave before eating, it was refreshing to have some good indoor seating in this Mexican restaurant. As you can see, these nachos were loaded and there was not one bare chip left behind. Quality It was a nice creamy tray of nachos with amazing seasoning. The carne asada was perfectly tender and well seasoned. The chips were great as well even though there were a few mushy chips on the bottom.
